Are
Chiropractors Really Doctors?

Chiropractic
colleges are accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education
which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and
the Council on Post Secondary Education.
Chiropractic college is a four-year graduate level health
care program with emphasis in the chiropractic sciences and
arts, and advanced work in neurology, orthopedics and radiology.
Following graduation, a student must take an oral and written
state board examination in each state he or she wishes to
practice in.
In California the seven-member Board of Chiropractic Examiners
regulates the practice of chiropractic medicine and licenses
the chiropractors in the state.
